Spelling
Every week students will get twenty spelling words, five Challenge words, and four sentence dictations. The Challenge words are optional, and will be worth bonus points if spelled correctly on a test. Students will be taking a pretest on Monday, and will be working on a Spelling Tic-Tac-Toe through the week. Tic-Tac-Toe will be given on Mondays and expected to be completed and turned in no later than the following Friday. Students will be working with the words that they missed on their pretest. Spelling tests will be on Friday, so students need to be studying ALL week long.
